Spur is small town with lots of small town pride. It is a town that people come home too. We have a museum, an art guild, and a library for your artistic needs. We are striving to make it a great place to visit and an even greater place to live. My husband grew up here in Spur and after his short term in the army we moved here together in 1982. We brought with us four children and had three more once we arrived. We have ten grandchildren with five of them in Spur schools. We love the quietness of a small town and hope that you will too. The hustle and bustle of the city gets left behind when you arrive in Spur so come, relax, eat at our "Texas Monthly" recognized cafes, and go hunting, or fishing. With White River Lake only 18 miles away, you can come for vacation, fish and swim then come stay with us if you aren't the roughing it kind of people.
Our county seat, Dickens, is only 10 miles away and home of our historic courthouse built over 100 years ago in 1898. Dickens also has resturants and beverage stores to help you enjoy your stay in Dickens County.
We bought the Inn because we want too to be a part of Spur and it's history. We hope you will come stay and shop and make yourself at home in our little town.
